CHAPTER SIX. MIA’S OWN BED.
Mummy came back from the shops one afternoon, carrying two big shopping bags into the house.
I didn’t pay too much attention, because I was playing with my new rugby ball on the front lawn.
That evening, mummy called me and said: “Mia, come and look in the bedroom. I’ve bought you a very cute bed!”
Oh dear! Mummy was very upset with me earlier that day, because I, once more, messed up all her bedding with my muddy paws! She said I was not allowed on her bed any longer, because I made her sheets too dirty!
Oh no! I didn’t want my own bed, I wanted to sleep with mummy!
“Mia!” She called again, “Come and look at your bed! I bought you a soft toy, too!”
A toy? What must I do with a toy? Reluctantly I walked into the bedroom, and ooh! aah! What’s that?
Woof! Woof! Woof!
