CHAPTER THREE: MIA MEETS SILKY
In the kitchen, mummy waited for me with a big smile on her face, and I greeted her with a ‘woof’ and a
tail that couldn’t stop wagging. Food! Yumeeh!
The kitchen looked so inviting, and smelled of lemons and cinnamon.
My new mummy placed a huge bowl of food on the floor in front of me and gave my long floppy ears a playful tug.
“Enjoy your food Mia!” she said.
I started gobbling down the food, but mummy laughed and said: “Slow down Mia, you’re eating way too fast.
You’ll choke on your food!”
But I didn’t take any notice of what she said, I was far too hungry. The food was delicious! Gobble, gobble, gobble.
Faster, faster, faster!
